Thanks to all our friends for all your support,
You’re the only reason why we party.
Our only hope is we wouldn’t fall short,
Of your expectations to be happy.
Thanks to our haters for your disbelief,
You’re the reason why we strive for greatness.
If not for your detraction and your beef,
We’ll never be brought to our awareness

As election is fast approaching, I think now is the best opportunity to brush up on a little math. We often hear, “Noynoy is up by 10%”, then the following day, “Noynoy is up by 5%”. We won’t be surprised why other people would react, “Pucha kahapon 10% tapos ngayon 5% na lang? Ano kaya yun nabawasan? Daya! Daya! Luto!” –wag kang tanga!
From the latin words per meaning “by” and centum meaning “100”. In numeric value this means 1/100. I myself am not good in math, but this stuff is very basic. Something that you would have learned in 5th grade (that is if you’re listening).

Six years ago I moved out of my parents house to join Art in an apartment in Espana with the dream of forming a concept band that plays R&B and Dance music in a different perspective. Of course it was fun, Imagine yourself being free from your parents rules and being able to party whenever you want. On the other hand, it was hard knowing that you have to do things your own like prepare & buy your own food and basically being a self supporting individual. At that time we didnt have enough money and we have to hustle to be able to pay rent and electricity. Looking back from now I still cant think how the hell am I able to live by my own for 2 years in that apartment by just playing 2 gigs that pays 700php per gig!

I can still remember way back in high school when I was told one of the most impacting stories in my life. It was my literature professor who shared to us a story about a young JFK in dialogue with his teacher. He was asked “What do you dream to accomplish?” he said “I want to go to the moon”. His teacher chuckled and said “That is such a lofty dream young man”. JFK then wittily rebutted a rhetorical question “Aren’t dreams meant to be lofty?” Time passed and he became the US President. He did not land on the moon, but it is under his presidency that the lunar landing was 1st realized.

One of the many high - lights of the year that was, was when the band played in the Araneta Colliseum It was not their own concert but it’s a start, as they played in-front of thousands non- theless, as front act for famous int'l artists who made it big in the 80's era.
There were three international bands all of whom I forget the name as I was writing this, except for When In Rome, if my memory serves me right. The show's turn-up is more than what is expected, even for Urbanation.
